From the mind of top coach Micah Lester and using the technical genius of Tiger24.com comes a whole new contest format for junior surfers in the UK. Minor Disruption is the first ever mobile event for under 16s in the UK and the first ever event to be streamed live on the internet at tiger24.com. The contest is being held over the weekend of the 7th and 8th of November using an ASP heat format meaning everyone will get to surf at least twice. Because the competition is mobile it will either be held at Watergate Bay, Towan or Tolcarne beaches depending on conditions. To give it a bit more of an edge the prizes are a little bit different too, with the winners of the two divisions receiving coaching from Micah Lester, online portfolios, profiles in Wavelength mag and for the winner of the under 16 division a chance to come on a photo trip with Micah for Wavelength. So for all you frothing groms out there get on over to tiger24.com and register, it's strictly first come first serve, so don't miss out.
