In total I've spent around two months in Iceland. From late march to the middle of summer, warm days to blizzards, through all of this we made one decision, and that was never to sleep in anything but a tent. Iceland is an amazing place, you have to totally immerse yourself in the environment, weather you're above a beach and it doesn't get dark until 2 in the morning or you're cocooned in a tent at 5.30 in snow drifts, its all part of the deal. This time we hit the previously unexplored east coast, let me tell you there a few less hospitable in Europe. We found some waves though, check out the next issue for more, it rained a lot, but hell that's all part of the deal.
